Intro
I learned nearly everything that I know about love between the age of 23 and 28. Since then, everything I’ve experienced and learned about love has simply been a form of more and more “evidence”. Here are observations I’ve found interesting about “love”, followed by what love is according to other influential people.
- When we are resistant to love, it is because the love we receive heals our emotional issues quicker than we can comfortably adjust to the healing. It brings to our attention that we have pain that we still have to resolve...whether we like it or not!
- Unexpectedly, the feeling of love is less influential and less powerful than the love in action. For example, the act of saving someone’s life is more powerful than the emotional feeling of being saved. It is powerful because it summons greater degrees of harmony to all of our personal realities.
According to AJ Miller
“Whatever you’d like somebody to do to you, do to them. That’s what love is. So what would you like from other people? Think about when you were a child...”

According to Mort Fertel
“Love is a verb.”
I cannot believe that this guy’s YouTube channel only has about 1600 subscribers today. He focuses on marriages; however, his teachings are appropriately applicable to any form of relationship—friends, coworkers, lovers, newly-acquainted, and so on. Remember from my recent article about How to Learn Anything, being fluent with the rudimentary elements are absolutely necessary in order to master any subject or practice!
I REPEAT...
...rudimentary to any form of relationship!
Enjoy this interview :)
According to Ou Wenwei (Poetry)
The teachings from Ou Wenwei, and many of them involved in the Pangu Shengong exercises and philosophy, had the largest impact on my understanding of love. While Mort Fertel’s Information was rudimentary, what I learned through Ou Wenwei gave me countless contexts and living examples to then be “glued” together by Mort’s practical knowledge.
Enjoy his poem—also translated from Cantonese.

“What is love?
Love is respect and devotion,
The perfect harmony of true affection and kindness
. . . one for the other.
It is like clear spring water
. . . that sweetly moistens and silently penetrates:
Tender feelings flowing continuously
. . . with sincere, endless dedication.
Love is as generous as sunshine,
. . . warmly caring and voluntarily giving with deep affection,
. . . is intimate and free,
. . . genuine, touching, profoundly tolerant.”“What is love?
Love is respect and devotion,
The perfect harmony of true affection and kindness
. . . one for the other.
It is like the stars in the sky
. . . that shine and sparkle:
Always there, firmly above us,
. . . transcending earthly time and space.
Love is the harvest of our cultivation:
. . . ploughed in spring, sowed in summer,
. . . reaped in autumn and stored in winter;
. . . only through our persistent labor can we enjoy
. . . its sweet, rich, intoxicating fruits!”“Ah—under magnificent sunshine, neither darkness nor confusion,
. . . only brightness and openness:
. . . true feelings given without regret or greed,
. . . complaint or hatred.”“Ah—within true love’s realm, neither narrow-mindedness nor discontent,
. . . Only tolerance and understanding, forgiveness and loyalty are required:
. . . Knowing each other well, embracing each other with hearts sincere and true.”“This, then, is love—real love, noble love: the love that leads
. . . to beauty and happiness forever.”

According to Robert Genito
As expected, love is deep and words cannot exist to contain its scope entirely. Here are a few words to enjoy and close with :)
- Love is truth.
- Love is the ultimate form of knowledge.
- Love, at its ultimate form, responds in complete harmony with all energies.
- Love, at its ultimate form, lacks friction.
- Love is how you act without sacrificing the selfless needs of another.
- Love is simple; the more you complicate the experience with it, the less you will absorb during that experience.
Love is emotional information that is rudimentary to this universe—the basic force that animates everything emotionally and recognizable by any perception. It touches many perceptions, and my guess is that it can touch all perceptions!
To put it simply...
Love is Light. Literally.
Can love truly be experienced mentally?
Thank you! :)
I will love you! And I have all of the reason to do so!
Some info about me: I've been involved with Bitcoin since 2010. By trade I am an expert on blockchain technology. I am the Project Director for Wall of Coins, and CEO for Genitrust, Inc. I eat primarily fruits and leafy greens ("fruitarian"). This is known as a frugivorous diet, which is the diet by design of the human species and most primates. I don't cook my fruits, so you may also call this "raw vegan". I have eaten virtually every food item and major cultural style on this planet. I have experienced long periods of many different diet regimens: acid/alkaline, ketogenic, vegan, etc. In my spare time as a child, and an adult, I truly relished reading articles, books, and research papers on nutritional observation. I also enjoy and frequently practice long periods of juice fasting, water fasting, and dry fasting.
Thank you for reading, upvoting, tipping, and re-steeming!
