Ethiopia is where the Arabica coffee plant originates from. Coffee is a super important crop for this country a majority of their foreign income is from coffee alone. They are the top African producer of coffee. Something that makes them unique is that they consume about half the coffee they grow. In many other coffee producing countries the farmers don't consume their own crop, they tend to drink Nescafé or some form of instant coffee.
This is my own Robissimo coffee, it's a lighter medium roast.
It has a rich black tea mouthfeel, on the bright but not super citrusy.
I get hints of dried fruit leather, roasted chestnuts, and there is a light maple syrup sweetness.
I like this coffee and I will be roasting more.
