Land
I see it before me, and I recall my plan
I will climb the mountain when nobody else can
My legs weaken, my back starts to hurt, my hands ache
I can't give up, my goal is clear, my will won't break
I will reach the top, and I will finally understand
I can lead the way, but I'll never reach the promised land
I know this knowledge is sacred, and it comes with a price
So if I must, I will pay, I will be the sacrifice
How I had hoped to taste its sweet bounty, and to get my own share
Oh the dreams I had! All that I wanted to do when I got there
I take one last look, and I do not fear death as I had before
Because my people are home now, they will not suffer any more
