The Next Generation movie series is a movie series for the ages. This three movie set of next generations movies was purchase before the movie Star Trek Nemesis was released. A close look shows that this collection has gotten plenty of use. It’s recommended to reserve an evening of eight hours to watch all three movies with two or more Star Trek experts.
Fancy food is not recommended for this movie watching. All food is normally prepared by the movie watchers. There is an established menu for this Trek-a-thon evening. It includes a few packs of hotdogs and Sausages, baked in the oven for about thirty minutes. One pack of salt and vinegar potatoes chips, one pack of barbeque potatoes chip and two twelve pack of Miller Genuine Draft (beer choice is always a topic for discussion) when I get to choose. Also other snacks that are available.
No one is surprise that there were a big concern about Star Trek going forward without the original TOS cast. But it didn’t take long for Captain Picard, Data and the rest of the Next Generation cast to win everybody over.
Next Generation lasted for seven seasons between 1987 and 1994. There are 178 episodes of Star Trek Next Generation. When the Star Trek Generations movie was announced it was a welcome relief. This time there would be no long period of time without new Star Trek adventures.
