Good day and greetings dear Steemians! How's everyone doing today? I hope this day finds you well.
Anyways, today I will be sharing with you a wonderful and tasty fudge cake courtesy of Nordic Ware. I made this cake a month ago. If you’re one who loves and enjoy chocolate fudge in its delightful taste, this cake is certainly for you.
Ingredients:
2 ¼ c. all-purpose flour
2 c. confectioners’ sugar
¾ c. unsweetened cocoa powder
2 c. walnuts, chopped
1 ¾ c. unsalted butter, softened
1 ¾ c. sugar
6 large eggs
Glaze:
¾ c. confectioners’ sugar
¼ c. unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tbl. milk
Steps and Procedures:
Preheat oven to 325F or 170C. Grease a 10-12 cup Bundt pan using spray made with flour. Set aside.
In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time mixing well after each addition.
Gradually add confectioners’ sugar, mixing well.
Stir in flour, cocoa and chopped walnuts by hand, until well blended.
Spoon the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
Bake for 60-64 minutes or until a wooden stick inserted comes out clean.
Remove from oven and allow it to cool for 1 hour.
Invert the cake on a serving platter and let it cool completely before glazing.
Glaze:
In a small bowl, combine confectioners’ sugar, cocoa powder, and milk, mixing until smooth.
Thin with more milk, if needed. Spoon the glaze over top of the cake.
Allow the glaze to run over the sides of the cake.
Serve.
There you have it. Thanks for stopping by, reading the recipe, and viewing the pics.
Have a great day. Peace and blessings!
