About the 2nd Hive PH Onboarding Webinar
Last Saturday, we held our 2nd Hive PH Onboarding Webinar: How Hive Works. This webinar is a little bit more focused on the topic of Hive earnings. We started off the webinar with a very general view of how a newbie earns in Hive through content creation. Here we elaborated that content creators on hive need to simply post their content in Hive, and then after 7 days, their earnings will be claimable in their Hive wallet. During the discussion, posting guidelines and some tips and tricks were included to help our newbies further.
We opened the floor to everyone who has questions about the topics discussed. I am glad to see that some of the veterans in the blockchain also chimed in to answer the questions our newbies had. The Q&A portion of each webinar is an open and safe space, and everyone may ask questions about the platform. Feel free to ask away, our facilitators, speakers, and some of the veterans joining the webinar will answer your questions to the best of their abilities. But if in any way you still feel shy, feel free to DM me and I will look for people who know the answers to your questions. :D

At the end of the webinar, there's a couple of action items we left for our attendees. We hope that after the webinar, they'll be able to:
- leave at least 5 comments a day interacting with other Hiveans
- join the Hive PH Discord server
- Subscribe to a community
The emphasis of this webinar is the importance of engagement and interaction. We all are aware that we will earn through our posts here in Hive. But it is important that each of our newbies establish a natural connection and interaction with our fellow Hiveans before they start worrying about how much they are actually earning.
Why Do We Do These Webinars
The persons behind these webinars were once newbies too. Like the ones joining these talks, Hive PH's onboarding team also went through the stage where we were confused, bewildered, and daunted about the whole new world that is the blockchain. I myself wished there were tutorials that can be easily absorbed by newbies like me back then. Ones that would not cause any information overload but would still be very helpful in guiding me through my blogging journey in the platform. I personally see these webinars as the kind of help that we once hoped we had when we were just starting. I know experience is the best teacher, but then if we want to take Hive to the next level, we will need each of its users to have a deeper and broader understanding of how it works.
Also, as members of the Hive community, we took on the responsibility of making sure that the common Hive etiquette is observed at all times. These webinars open the doors to newbies who are afraid to ask questions. The people behind these webinars, namely, 
Technically, everything we discuss on the webinars we hold can easily be found in the FAQs, Whitepaper, some posts explaining what Hive is, and so much more. The difference in what we do is that we translate this technical information into layman's terms where anyone new to the platform will not be overwhelmed. And with the target audience being fellow Filipinos, we can freely discuss the topics in languages that we all would understand.
