HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY to all moms ,my family and friends in the whole Hivers' World! Today May 10, 2026 or every second Sunday of the month of May, we celebrated the Mothers' Day. Today is the day we give thanks to our mother’s, to those who step in as mothers and to those who become mothers not by blood but by the Heart.
I was so very blessed to share with you all how my family surprises me today. After breakfast my eldest daughter told me that we would go out . I asked why? But she just responded to me with a wink. I was doing my laundry when she told me Mama, do I need to help you finish your laundry? I answered her NO. I am almost done. After I finished hanging all my laundry. My daughter told me. Mama got dressed and ready because we would go out. When I entered the bedroom I asked their Dad about it, but he just shook his head and said, I do not know but I would be asked to drive by our eldest.
We are in the car so I asked again where we would go? Nobody answers. In my mind, really! Huh! Nobody remembered Mother’s day greetings and nobody knew where we were going!..
The car stopped at SM parking and the moment we stopped our youngest daughter told me. Mama Let’s get inside the mall cause it was so hot here in the parking. The eldest daughter says, I need to buy something. I would follow you guys then. Our youngest told me and their dad to follow her .We followed her until we reached SUNBURST RESTAURANT.
I was surprised when the waiter asked my daughter, do you have a reservation maam? She answered Yes! Good for four heads. The waiter guided us to a table for four, gave us the menu and said take your time on choosing your foods and I would be back to get your orders. To make the story short we eat our lunch at Sunburst RESTAURANT.
We sat and looked at the menu. After ten minutes the eldest arrived with a cake. She was smiling and said HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY MAMA!.. My emotions turned upside down because I thought that they forgot it and I said thank you. They give me warm hugs and it melts my heat Surprise MAMA !!!
Our eldest daughter ordered her favorite fried chicken drumsticks , leche plan and a mango shake while our youngest daughter ordered her favorite fried chicken wings, halohalo and sprite. I ordered beef in bitter gourd and a platter of rice to share. My partner ordered beef tenderloin and chocolate shake.
I was still eating when both our daughters told us again, we would go to the wash room. Their Dad answered, okay just be careful. I continue eating my food until I am done. While waiting for them we chichat. The girls arrived, the youngest was holding a bouquet of flowers. They are both smiling. Both of them say, HAPPY MOTHERS AGAIN MAMA! I was so happy to receive that flower bouquet. They give me kisses and then take pictures.
We decided to go back home and go down from the second floor. We saw the mothers day photo booth. So I sat there to have a selfie.
Today, reminds me how blessed I am to have a thoughtful and very loving family. Being a mom is a big blessing . Being a mom is both happiness and a big responsibility. To raise my daughters properly, guiding them, teaching them, being a disciplinarian, making sure that they know and feel that my love for them is constant. Most of all to pray for them because for me they are not really mine but owned by GOD. This is the best mothers day ever, the surprised was very wonderful and I really feel so loved with my family. My tummy was full because the food was yummy and my heart is filled with joy and love. The plan of making me surprised was successful.
Many people say, we look like friends or sisters because of how we talk and treat each other. But YEAH! They are my daughters. We are close because I want them to feel that I am a mom and also a friend. Both of my daughters have their own clinginess.
This picture was taken before school days, after she arrived from school. Our youngest daughter asked me that we would make love-love. LOVE-LOVE means we would hug each other because she missed me when she went to school.
That’s all for today FAMILY AND FRIENDS, wishing you all a HAPPY MOTHERS DAY and hoping all is well with your family. SEE YOU SOON ON MY NEXT VLOG.
