When you are productive, then you have much greater chance to go through the life much smoother and achieve much greater success compared to individuals who prefer to stay in the comfort zone and do only what is required.
When you are productive, you act much faster than the average person, which means that you can do more in shorter space of time, which in the end gives you more time for your hobbies or whatever you wish.
It is scientifically proven that productive people are much happier and healthier then people who are chaotic and their actions are disorganized, and they have no plan.

If you are not truly willing to do so, then it will be pretty much nothing else but a waste of your energy. You need to have a burning desire to grow and become better and only then it will happen.
2. Choose the right time accordingly to your biorhythm.
You need to go with your natural flow, and when you feel inspiration/motivation then go with it and keep up the momentum. If you feel that your productivity had decreased, and things that you should do quickly take much longer that usual and your focus is not as great, then it is time for a break. Once your batteries are recharged, and you feel more energy than get fully engaged in your activities again.
3. Accomplish similar tasks in one go.
When you know that there are a couple of tasks that are not much different then try to accomplish them one after another. Since your mind is set to the certain type of work, then it is useful to stay with it until you finish all similar tasks, as it will save you mental energy for other tasks.

Your brain is pushed to accelerated work when there is a timer set for the task which is continuously ticking away. It keeps you more focused and of course more productive.
