Hello Everyone! Hope you all are doing great and welcome to another #Splinterlands post.
Today was not really about ranked battles or pushing league rating. Instead, today was all about opening Gladius packs and hoping for some crazy luck. Honestly, opening packs in #Splinterlands is probably one of the most addicting things in this game.
I had been saving merits for some time and finally decided that today was the day to spend them all.
Before opening the packs though, I wanted to increase my chances a little bit. So first, I purchased 5 Blood Stones. I know some players just open packs normally, but personally I like using Blood Stones because it atleast gives me some hope for better pulls.
After buying the Blood Stones, I purchased 5 Gladius packs for 2,000 merits each. Watching those packs appear in the inventory already got me excited lol.
I decided to open the first 5 packs one by one instead of all together.
Honestly, opening them one by one feels more fun and dramatic. Every single flip feels exciting because you never know what card is waiting behind it.
Some of the first cards were decent but nothing super insane at first. Mostly common and rare Gladiator cards. Still useful though because Gladiator cards are very important for Guild Brawls.
And lately, Guild Brawls have become one of my favorite parts of #Splinterlands.
After opening the first few packs, I suddenly felt lucky for some reason.
You know that feeling when the game tricks your brain into thinking βokay NOW the big pull is comingβ? Yeah that happened to me.
So instead of stopping there, I spent more merits and purchased 5 MORE Gladius packs.
At this point I was fully gambling with my merits honestly lol.
But this time I decided to do something different.
Instead of opening the packs one by one, I opened all 5 packs together at the same time.
And honestly, it actually worked out.
After opening all the packs, I went into my βUpgradeableβ cards section to check duplicates.
Turns out I had enough copies to upgrade 3 cards.
Honestly this part feels really satisfying too. Seeing cards level up makes your account actually feel stronger little by little.
Even though the upgrades were not max level or anything crazy, every upgrade still matters in the long run.
Some stat increases can completely change battles.
Especially speed upgrades. Speed feels insanely important in #Splinterlands right now.

Overall today was a really fun Splinterlands session.
No crazy ranked battles. No stressful grinding. Just pure pack opening excitement and card upgrades.
Getting that legendary card honestly saved the whole opening session and made it memorable. And upgrading 3 cards afterwards made the progress feel even more satisfying.
Now its time to start saving merits all over again.
Anyway thats it for todayβs #splinterlands grind. More battles tomorrow and hopefully more crazy moments too. Please do give your reviews in the comments section below. I would really appreciate it :)
I'll be back with another one soon. So do follow me if you want to stay updated. Till then, Stay Happy and Stay Hydrated.
