Hello Fellow steemians,
For the past few days I was fascinated by the art of embroidery so I started learning the basic using the tutorial on youtube. Afte learning the different form of stitches I started doing my own embroidery using only a sewing thread as a practice for the meantime.
I started my first embroidery doing the pattern that I had posted recently. You can view here
And now I was done doing another embroidery art. It was a flower.
It was fun and thrilling actually doing the process. You have to have patience doing this because it could took you more than an hour or even more than that believe me. I guess I started liking doing this because it is really challenging and at the same time I was enjoying and learning all throughout.
As a beginner
I was pierced by the pointed needle several times lately while embroidering
So if you were a beginner like me on embroidery...you have to be careful with the needle.LOL!
And lastly, dont be easily discourage if you hurt yourself because of the needle.
Sometimes you had to experience pain in order to learn something. But after that.. It will be a fruitful result!
WHAT IS EMBROIDERY?
Embroidery is the craft of decorating fabric or other materials using a needle to apply thread or yarn.
Embroidery may also incorporate other materials such as pearls, beads, quills, and sequins. In modern days, embroidery is usually seen on caps, hats, coats, blankets, dress shirts, denim, dresses, stockings, and golf shirts. Embroidery is available with a wide variety of thread or yarn color.

Embroidering a Flower
This time I used a red sewing thread for the fetals of the flower and a chain stitch.
Chain stitch
is a sewing and embroidery technique in which a series of looped stitches form a chain-like pattern.I draw the pattern of the flower first in the white cloth as a start.
And after that I started doing the embroidery following the flower pattern
Then for the leaves I used the green sewing thread and a satin stitch.
After covering the drawing pattern of the flower ... finally, it was done.
Took me 3 hours finishing the whole embroidery process. Wew! hahaha
HOPE YOU LIKE IT GUYS
HAVE A NICE DAY EVERYONE.....
Thanks For Viewing!!
