Jabez was a man whose story proves beyond doubt that, prayer can rewrite destinies. But prayer is not just a religious routine, it is a divine tool for transformation, both for individuals and nation.
Most time the solutions to our problems must first require that get embark on prayer. Jabez prayed for God's undeniable blessing, expansion of his influence, divine presence in all his endeavors and protection from harm and pain. He prayed boldly and God answered. This shows that God is not intimidated by the size of our requests.
In fact, Scripture says, He delights in the prosperity of His children and that was why he told us in Psalms 35:27; “Let the Lord be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant".
Ephesians 3:20 also said,
“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think.”
Prayer is very vital and we must never take it for granted. God is still in the business of answering prayers.
