Good day Steemians!
Who wants some pizza!? Who says pizza are only for weekends!? Nooooo. Pizzas are also for Wednesdays!!! :)
It's a chilly Wednesday morning today. I want to spice it up, give it a hint of hotness. I love chillies and anything spicy.
So I checked the fridge and I decided to use kimchi for my pizza today.
Kimchi is a favorite Korean staple and appetizer made from fermented vegetables. We love Koreans. We love Kimchi. It has become one of Filipino favorites, too. It is readily available now in groceries.
So, I call my pizza: Kimchi and Bacon Pizza. This is my 3rd pizza recipe. Here's how to prepare it:
For the crust, you can buy from your groceries, ready-to-bake pizza crust. For my pizza, I really want my crust made from scratch. You can check out my Homemade Pineapple and Meatballs Pizza for the crust recipe.
Pre-bake pizza crust for 10-15 minutes. Spread your pizza sauce. You can have pizza sauce from your favorite grocery or you can make your own. I prefer making my own.
For this pizza, I have toppings of white onions, bell pepper, kimchi, bacon, grated cheese and spring onions. Drizzle some olive oil on top. Bake for 30-45 minutes.
And yes, because I love anything spicy, I am too, drizzling my pizza with my all-time favorite Tabasco sauce. SPICY HEAVEN!!!
Bon appetit!
