Shadows to the rhythm of rock and roll! | My entry for #Monomad Challenge [ENG-ESP]

Hello black and white photography lovers!

I return to this magical space, filled with the energy that music and dance weave through frames, and the chiaroscuro contrasts that the night intensifies.

It was just another night in my city shrouded in a complete power outage. Even so, the hope of many of us, who longed for the announced concert to finally take place, remained undiminished.

It was Blinder's turn, a rock band that had scheduled a show in the middle of Las Arcadas park, outdoors, to give the entire urban center their strident chords as if seeking to make the light vibrate on every skin.

Kids of all ages—teenagers, young adults, and not-so-young adults—waited there... And then, the lights came on!

Black and white began to blend with the music, a pretext for a ritual punctuated by seemingly chaotic dance steps.

Perhaps some of these kids have no idea who Sid Vicious was, but they still let themselves be carried away by the music, releasing all that adrenaline that grips them and transmitting a joy worthy of admiration and applause.

Each image attempts to capture moments from that Slam, also known as slam dancing or mosh pit, which reminded us of the Sid Vicious era, even before he was part of the Sex Pistols, but he was already leaving his mark for eternity.

These contrasting images seem eternal to me, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

So, all that's left is to dance and smile until the next frame. In the meantime, each of you receive a hug of light!

Retorno a este espacio mágico con la energía que la música y la danza entretejen a través de fotogramas y los contrastes del claro oscuro que la noche profundiza en sus efectos.

Una noche más en mi ciudad, cubierta por un manto de total ausencia de servicio eléctrico. Aún así, la esperanza de muchos, que ansiábamos se pudiese concretar el concierto anunciado, no disminuía.

Llega el turno de Blinder, una banda de rock que tenía programado un espectáculo en pleno parque de Las Arcadas, al aire libre, para regalar a todo el centro urbano sus acordes estridentes como quien busca que la luz vibre en cada piel.

Chicos de varias edades, adolescentes, jóvenes y no tan jóvenes, ahí, a la espera... ¡Y se hizo la luz!

Y el blanco y negro comenzaron a mezclarse con la música como pretexto en un ritual que la danza marca con pasos aparentemente caóticos.

Quizás algunos de estos chicos no tienen idea de quién fue Sid Vicious, pero igual se dejan llevar por la música y sueltan toda esa adrenalina que les abraza y nos transmiten un júbilo digno de admirar y aplaudir.

Cada imagen intenta perpetuar instantes de ese Slam, conocido también como slam dance, slamdancing o Mosh pit, qué nos hizo recordar aquellos tiempos de Sid Vicious, aún cuando no formaba parte de Sex Pistols, pero ya venía dejando huellas para la eternidad.

Como eternas se me tornan estos juegos de contrastes que espero ustedes disfruten tanto como yo.
