Nuestro Fisioterapeuta (Orvan Aponte), reunió a todos los atletas de la zona, para impartirles una serie de ejercicios de acondicionamiento muscular (calentamiento) con un doble objetivo: 1️⃣ Preparar a los atletas antes de comenzar la competición y 2️⃣ Detectar cualquier tipo de lesión en los atletas.
Our Physiotherapist (Orvan Aponte), gathered all the athletes in the area, to give them a series of muscle conditioning exercises (warm-up) with a double purpose: 1️⃣ To prepare the athletes before starting the competition and 2️⃣ To detect any type of injury in the athletes.
Los ejercicios de estiramiento y calentamiento fueron bastante completos, dando movilidad al cuello, hombros, trapecios, muñecas, lumbares, espalda, piernas y en general todas las zonas del tren superior e inferior, además del trabajo de flexibilidad que conseguimos con los ejercicios. De esta forma el Fisioterapeuta Orvan, preparó a los atletas para un esfuerzo físico más intenso.
The stretching and warm-up exercises were quite complete, giving mobility to the neck, shoulders, trapezius, wrists, lumbar, back, legs and generally all areas of the upper and lower train, in addition to the flexibility work we got with the exercises. In this way the Orvan Physiotherapist prepared the athletes for a more intense physical effort.
Durante el proceso, el Fisioterapeuta iba preguntando a los atletas si sentían algún dolor o molestia en alguna zona muscular causada por alguna lesión, aquellos atletas que decían sentir alguna molestia, los enviaba a la zona donde se ubicaría el Fisioterapeuta para ser atendidos inmediatamente antes de iniciar el evento.
During the process, the Physiotherapist was asking the athletes if they felt any pain or discomfort in that area caused by any injury, those athletes who said they felt any discomfort, sent them to the area where the Physiotherapist would be located to be treated immediately before starting the event.
El Fisioterapeuta sería el encargado de atender a cada Atleta que sintiera alguna molestia o cualquier tipo de lesión "Antes, durante y después del evento" para ser tratados.
The Physiotherapist would be in charge of treating each Athlete who felt any discomfort or any type of injury "Before, during and after the event" in order to be treated.

¡Muy bien queridos Hivers! Esto es todo por hoy 🙌🏼 El tema de "Atención al Atleta" es un punto muy importante para cada uno de nosotros como Atletas de Street Workout, ya que realizamos movimientos de gran intensidad y tensión, por lo que podríamos sufrir una lesión en cualquier momento. Con un calentamiento adecuado y con la disponibilidad de un Fisioterapeuta, estas lesiones podrían ser tratadas al instante evitando que las lesiones empeoren con el tiempo.
