The skills of a good designer are in the heart of a designer be it house painting, drawing, arctician’s, modelling etc. The act of painting as always be for beautification, aesthetic and desire for it.
Let me present my painting design to you of a self-contain I did for a friend.
Anytime I want to paint, actually my head used to be empty but once I held the roller, the design will surely come. My friend said he want a unique design but I don’t really know what to paint for him. Anytime a client said just paint for me ‘it used to be a hard worked because one will want to sanctify the client by painting what he will admire without knowing his or her mind’.
Finishing
Materials used are:
2 small cream rubber paint
2 small red oxide rubber paint
Masking tape
A brush
A blade
Process:
Firstly, the first thing to do is to do surface wall cleaning as have said earlier in my precious post by using scrapper to scrap it and broom to sweep the walls.
Apply first coat of the paint and it’s the upper wall to paint first, leave it to dried off and paint again and leave to dry. After it has been dried off, use masking tape to tape it at desire area to cut it but this time, it’s not been cut straight but zig zag manner.
So the down part can now be painted like the other one at the top. Just repeat the procedure up at the down part.
Process of painting
The television area is being painted plain red oxide because of the design that will be done on it using the cream paint for the design.
Designing of the television area using box like pattern. A tape was taped in a rectangular way and also a blade was used to trim the part of the masking tape that goes beyond where it is needed.
Then, the masking tape box like area is being painted with brush to avoid the other area out of the box stain with paint of other color. Then the other back area too is taped in diagonal way and painted also with brush.
After all, have dried off, then I removed the masking tape and the work is done and finished.
