The sky of #Niger's capital #Niamey was a crimson shade on Monday as the result of 'calima', a weather phenomenon characterized by the presence of dust, wind and sand from the Sahara desert.
No major disruptions were reported by local authorities which had already suspended international flights into and out of Niger until May 23 and imposed a national curfew in the country to help curb the spread of COVID-19.
