Let's Have A SoCalSteemit Meet Up At Newport Beach! Sunday 5/6/2018

I just arrived back in California last week from Tokyo and Hive account@derekrichardson mentioned to me that we needed to plan May's meetup for the Hive account@socalsteemit community, so I volunteered. 

Speaking of Tokyo, things are moving full steem ahead there with the Hive account@steemit-jp community and the meetup on 5/8/2018 we are organizing with Hive account@ned! At the Newport Beach Meetup I will be talking with everyone about what is happening in Japan, some behind the scenes info on Steemit, listening to your SoCalSteemit news and hopefully enjoying some nice BBQ with everyone!

Details:

Location - Balboa Pier West - 2 Washington St, Newport Beach, CA 92661

Cost - Parking fee from $1.90hr - $19.25 full day.

Time - 12:00 - 5:00 (we can stay later, but this is the official time.)

Fire pit - There are 8 wood burning fire pits. I won't know which one we will get until that day, but they are all within site of each other so just look for my blue LIFE hat.

What To Bring - Camping chairs, sunscreen!, food & drinks. I will have a small table, but it won't be able to handle the past meetup's volume of food so please bring food & drink for yourself only. Also note, alcohol is prohibited (fucking savages).

Dogs - Dogs are not allowed. Sorry everyone.

Another note about parking, there are many spaces to park out on the streets for free, but it can take a while to find one. My advice is to carpool and pay to park. It will be worth it!
