[TRAVELS] Coastal Cliffs, Paldiski Area, Estonia

With a few hours on the clock left before the sun will finally set below the horizon, @Greddyforce drove us almost off a cliff, we were in such a hurry. All jokes aside, these cliffs are literally driving people nuts. There have been two suicides taken place in the last few weeks. When we walked around these cliffs I think we all agreed that we understood the reason why they chose this place to 'do it'. The rush, the calm, the atmosphere, the control and perhaps to get a grasp feeling what flying feels like. Horrific occasions occur in the most peaceful locations. Until you take a look downwards the steep cliffs that could break into pieces at any given moment to get shattered across the coastlines that were approximately 30 meters down below. You quickly understand the risks and how merciless lethal mother nature can become. In just a blink of an eye, everything could all be over.

Around the scenery, there are visible scars that war left behind, an old lighthouse that could collapse any time soon and a newer one. It was very peaceful to walk across here. Many people came and went, while we were embracing the gentle breeze the sea gave us. Allowing ourselves to catch some breath and think about life itself perhaps. Well, at least the suicide topic made me think about those people who committed their last day here on this place. The painted traces were still visible, I didn't want to photograph such an event out of respect. Instead, enjoying what life has to offer seemed to be the right way to express. Life can be short, we should make the most out of it while we still can.

@Escapist and @Eveuncovered roamed freely near the border while Hive account@greddyforce is taking chances to get the best possible view his camera could capture. The guy is Danger Zone proof as he was extending his body over the edge of the dangerous cliffs. I, the pussy that I am, well actually, I was intimidated by these cliffs as I realized I haven't been sleeping for 40+ hours at this point, didn't really plan to get near the border so I decided to photograph daisies instead.
