We've been experiencing cold weather for a week now. Last night I woke up really cold, and when I checked the temperature on my phone, it was 22°C. When I saw that number, I got curious if this was really considered cold. I feel like I'm just weak and can't handle this much coldness.
Anyway, I was just staying in my room today, minding my own business, when I decided to go visit the pets at my mama's house. I also want to check if there are still feeds for the chickens and the little ones. When I saw that it was already empty, I prepared myself to go for a walk to the market.
While going in there, I am already calculating the amount I will spend on their feeds. I only have $2 in my wallet, which is the budget for the pets. I have to decide whether to buy more of them or just one kilo. If Mama doesn't arrive tomorrow, at least there is still food for the other pet. So in the end, I decided to just buy half a kilo of corn and half a kilo of feed. Gosh, budgeting really needs a skill to succeed.
Let me first share a selfie of my outfit. I feel like a robber with my get-up, but I feel cool with it though, lol. And yes, it's really cold, so I have to wear a jacket. As for the cap, I am just getting ready in case it rains. Which happen while I'm on the way home. I didn't bring an umbrella with me, as I didn't want another thing to carry. In the end, my cap was very useful.
I was in this area when the rain started to pour. It's not really that heavy rain, but to someone who only wears a jacket, that would be suicide. I don't want to get drenched and get a fever later. So for my safety, I decided to stay here just until the rain stopped. This is just like yesterday and this morning when I went to the market to buy ingredients.
It also rains while I'm on my way to buy them, but when I get home, magically, it just stops. I feel like the rain is mad at me because every time I have to go somewhere, that is when it will start to pour, but once I get home, that is also where it will stop. Like seriously (ノ゚0゚)ノ→, haha.
So while I'm here, I started to take notice of the place. It's like a ghost town in here where no one takes care of the place. I saw some Mangyan's here a while ago, but when the rain started, they also started to get out of here. It really amazes me that they just let their kids wear very thin clothes with them. Some kids are even half nude. They will go visit the land to beg for money, but because of that, even their kids suffer too. Aigoooo.
Here's the view from the other side. There's actually a few shops here. A clothing shop that sells different kinds of wardrobes. I just like to use this route because I can see their items. They are of good quality, but expect that the price will be very high. One time I asked the price of some cool cargo pants, the wide and not the skinny type. It is good quality because it is denim and thicker, so $8 is just right. But I didn't buy it because I know I have no use for it (≧▽≦).
When I see that the rain is slowly stopping, I walk to this side and check if I will go or not. But then I noticed the bakery in front, and my attention was focused on it, deciding whether to go.
I give in to the temptation and stop by there. I just bought a pack of buns because I have a liver spread at home. That would be our snack for this afternoon. I couldn't take a photo of it because I was so excited, and the same with my oldies too.
But before I went, I spotted this man walking fast with his umbrella. I think he managed to get enough food for himself that when he reached this spot, he just sat there like this and started devouring the food. I know him, actually, because he is one of those who also beg for food or money.
I will gladly give him some money if only he doesn't spend it on his vices, like cigarettes and alcohol. He has a big and strong body, but I don't know why he doesn't look for a job. I heard that he has a situation and has a problem in his head, but I'm not sure if it's true. But anyway, he is happy eating here, so happy eating, old man!
Anyway, after buying a pack of buns, I stay a little longer in this bakery shop while waiting for the rain to stop. I noticed the ground design here, so I decided to take a picture of it. It looks really cute.
I stopped admiring the pavement and really started to move on. If I stay and wait longer, I won't be able to go home. The rain is not that strong anymore, so I can just walk faster to get home.
I'm finally home, and that's when the sun just decided to show up. Whoah! Just whoah, man, perfect 〈(•ˇ‿ˇ•)-→, lol.
But either way, it's still a good exercise for me. I was able to go outside, and that's what's important. Ehe.
