Travelling from place to place is a very fun activity. I even learnt that it is a form of exercise because it is good for the body. Personally, I like to travel because I would get to meet new people and see new places.
Travelling with friends and family members can be so much fun especially when visiting a place for the first time. It's good to have someone with you to keep you company and share fun things with.
Ever heard the saying *two is a company while three is a crowd? *
Well, there is some truth to it because when you travel with people, you will not be bored nor will you feel lonely.
You'd have company to chat with, play fun games with and enjoy good time together. Have you thought about what would happen if you were on a trip alone in a foreign environment and an emergency occurred?

Well, I know that most places have top teams to help out in times of an emergency situation but I'm sure you would be more comfortable around familiar faces and loved ones. So this is why I feel that traveling with family members or friends can be quite good.
However, if I am asked to choose between traveling alone or with family and friends, especially at this stage of my life, I would gladly choose to travel alone on most occasions.
Travelling alone will allow me to have my personal time. It would be a form of vacation on my part as I would be free from certain restrictions. There would be more one to remind me of handlingy wifey and motherly duties.
I would sleep for as long as I want with no bother about chores because I know that I would do them at my own pace.
Also, I would have time on my hands to sight-see different places all around the new environment. It would unleash my adventure spirit and give me more time to relax as much as I want.

I remember travelling to the capital of Ogun state called Abeokuta (under the rock). Just like the name of the place implies, the city was full of rocks and it is host to a popular rock that has now become a tourist destination. The rock is called Olumo rock .
I was supposed to go with my younger sister and a friend then but due to some financial constraints, I had to travel alone. At first, I thought that I would be bored but I ended up having a great time and enjoying myself.
I got to climb the famous Olumo rock, take lots of pictures, scream on top of the rock and enjoy a lot of delicacies. I even met new people and we got talking. I still interact with some of them till date.
Travelling alone can be so much fun especially when you have enough money to spend. Though I travelled alone, I didn't spend much time there. I came back to resume my duties to my family and loved ones. I can't let them miss me too much 😀
That little time that I spent alone for relaxing and enjoying myself was golden.
