This afternoon my stomach sank when I logged into my e-mail and saw the dreaded Policy Violation e-mail from Amazon.
After reading the e-mail it appears to me to be a glitch or a mistake, however it still makes me nervous.
If you guys remember back to June, Amazon posted a policy update stating sellers had 30 days to remove any references from their listings which told people to order a size up, referrred to Amazon Prime, 2 Day Shipping or really anything describing the shirt quality, shipping times and anything other than the actual design. Amazon gave sellers 30 days to make changes to their accounts.
Fast forward to today July 11, 2018 and Amazon again posted pretty much this same message. Shortly after seeing that I log into my e-mail and notice I received a policy violation e-mail from Amazon. I felt like it was a mistake but just to be on the safe side started searching my shirts and listings for any reference to Amazon Prime, Shipping times, sizing, etc. I couldn't find anything.
I did however notice some shirts which had the word USA in the bullet points because it was a 4rth of July Shirt. I also noticed another shirt I had which had the word "free thinkers" in the bullet points. All I can assume is some type of automated system is catching those innocently used words and thinking when I say free I'm referencing shipping as opposed to free thinkers and in regards to USA they may think I'm talking about where the shirt is manufactured when in reality it's a USA patriotic shirt.
I was just curious if anyone else received this e-mail? Drop a comment below and let me know.
