First of all, let me just say woof to all you steemers out there. This is a first of my many adventures that you will be able to read about, so stay tuned, it gets interesting. :) I should introduce myself first, but I'm a dog and I don't have (or understand) any human manners. Also, I don't remember much about myself, except that I'm a dog and my name is Rum.
So, last week my humans (I heard them repeating some sounds that sounded like names, so I believe their names are Luka and Iva) took me to the seaside. Oh boy, was it hot. I swear at some point I thought I would pass out. But my humans really took care of me and tried to put me in the shade whenever possible. Oh look-a fly. Let me just catch it.
Where was I? Oh yeah, the big, blue, salty water. I gotta tell you, I really like swimming. Maybe it's that Labrador part of me. But this water wasn't like the one we have in Zagreb. This one is salty. It takes getting used to, but it took me a couple of times to remind myself not to drink it. My humans almost gave me a heart attack several times when they went into the water without me and I seriously thought I had to go and rescue them.
Here's me being a serious watchdog
One day they took me to this amazing sandy beach where there was no possibility of drowning since the water is maximum 50 cm high and I loved it because I got to play with a stick (sticks are like a holy grail to me) and it was really soft for my paws since I'm a spoiled prince sometimes. :)
This is a picture where I'm actually posing :)
Bad thing about this vacation is that I missed my furry buddies from Zagreb and there weren't many dogs to play with. Also, the night before leaving there was this furious wind called BURA (in Croatian) that almost blew off our tent. And in case you were wondering, we were camping.
Sleeping in a luxurious suite like a boss
Although I liked the change of scenery, I have to admit that there's no place like home and that I couldn't wait to come back to Zagreb...
This will be all for now, stay tuned for more adventures. Until then, woof, woof!
