Pieces from my travels: Amsterdam

Hi Steemians!

In my second post, I'd like to introduce a series of photos from my travels. The series for each country or city will be ongoing because I take over hundreds of photos. Rather than sharing them all in one post, I'll be picking out 5-10 of my favorite photos for each post.

I'll start it off with Amsterdam.

Narrow streets. Beautiful canals. Bicycles everywhere you go. Each building is unique in its own way just like the houses and apartments in San Francisco. I could see that Amsterdam is probably the SF of Europe and I could tell its booming with startups. Amsterdam is not just about that, but it also has a rich history.

Fun fact: Did you know there are so many bikes in the canals? Boats literally fish them out.

There is always something to see in every street that I walk into and Amsterdam is one those cities that I'd like to get lost in.

I told myself that Amsterdam would probably be the first place I'd settle in if I were to move in Europe. 🙃 It also looks as expensive as San Francisco. 😭

My first impression of this city is seeing how many bikes are out in the streets.
