Sin is the carrier of death. During the days of Adam and Eve, they both sin against God and since then many bad things started happening because of the sin evil, death and suffering become part of the world. The Bible teaches that God created humans to live forever in harmony with Him, but disobedience brought death as a consequence. So death is not part of God’s original perfect plan, but a result of mankind’s fall.
Because of sin our life on earth becomes temporary, which means we can die anytime. The Bible explains that our human bodies are weak and limited, and they will one day return to dust. This shows that earthly life is not permanent, but a journey meant to prepare us for eternity.
The Bible also teaches that death is a passage to judgment and eternity. It reminds believers that after death comes accountability before God. For those who believe and live according to God’s will, death is not the end, but a transition into eternal life with God.
