Going to heaven is never destined to everyone in this world, but is mainly for only those who are true believers of Jesus Christ. Salvation is presented as a gift, yet it requires acceptance through faith and obedience.
John 14:6, “Jesus answered, I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
This teaches is that going to heaven is centered on believing in Jesus Christ and doing the good things he wants from us.
Scripture makes it clear that God desires all people to be saved, but He also gives humans the freedom to choose. Throughout the Bible, there is a consistent call to repentance, righteousness, and faith. This means that while heaven is available to all, not everyone chooses the path that leads there.
