According to what the bible teaches us that keeping promises to children is very important and a good move. Little children usually have a big trust in your parents and the elderly ones around them, so when we fail our promises it will hurt them badly. God Himself is faithful and always keeps His promises, and He wants believers to show the same honesty and faithfulness in their lives. When adults keep their promises to children, they teach them love, truth, and responsibility.
Keeping promises to children also reflects godly character and good parenting. Small promises may seem unimportant, but they can have a deep impact on a child’s emotional and spiritual growth. The Bible encourages believers to speak truthfully and act with integrity in all things. As it is written in Ecclesiastes 5:5, “It is better not to make a vow than to make one and not fulfill it.” This verse reminds Christians to be trustworthy and dependable in both words and actions.
