Hello Everyone
Want to contribute to the question of Today. "what is baptism in the Bible" (part 2 of 3)
The Bible didn't tell us where to baptize, it wasn't stated
Mark 10:39 And they said unto him, We can. And Jesus said unto them, Ye shall indeed drink of the cup that I drink of; and with the baptism that I am baptized withal shall ye be baptized: This verse tell us that baptism can be done in any body of water it doesn't mean it has to be a river and is not only in River Jordan that John Baptist did baptism.
John 3:23 And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized. According to the verse is not only in River Jordan that people can be baptized John knows what he was doing when he baptized Jesus and some other people in River Jordan, it may be for the sake of convenience of people who are not far from River Jordan.
Baptism is a step for salvation and can be done in any body of water, it is wrong to say u must go to river Jordan to be baptized.
Thanks
