Hello Everyone
Want to contribute to the question of Today "What does the Bible say about baptism" (part 3 of 3)
Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. According to the verse the instructions of thy Lord Jesus Christ to his disciples is very clear. He says we must make disciples, teach nation's and baptize them in the name of the father, son and holy spirit
The one who has the right to baptize is the one who has the ability to teach all the commandment of Jesus Christ.
We are to receive baptism from somebody who can teach you all the commandment of our Lord Jesus Christ. So you have the right to choose who the officiating minister will be, you cannot allow urself to be baptized by anybody.
If a deacon , bishop, a minister or anybody claiming to have authority to officiate baptism can not teach the entire Lord Jesus Christ, you are risking your salvation if u submit yourself to these people to be baptized by them.
Thanks
