Mustang Sally's Pub & diner: & STEPH WEISS
It was my one sun's birthday and we decided to take him for hamburgers and milkshake at Mustang Sally's. As you can see on the photos above it is an American style diner, with a very nice modern look. (The only problem is that the name is Mustang Sally's and all the graphics is Corvette's) The place has a great look and atmosphere. Being in a Pub & Diner, I immediately saw the opportunity to test some beers!! Under the heading Craft Beers "Dragon Gire Ginger" immediately caught my attention, this is going to be a nice amber ale!!
Then the bottle arrived, with a nice dragon on it!! Fiery Ginger still sounding great.
It comes in a rather small 340 ml bottle with 6% alcohol.
Then I poured it!! But wait this is not beer!! This is alcoholic ginger beer - if I wanted ginger beer, I would have ordered it, what is it doing under Craft Beers on the menu???? Below you can see it in the glass, it almost looks as if it is only a frosted glass!! Disappointment!! At least it was very cold and refreshing!!
The kids ordered candy floss milkshakes - WOW look at the size of that drink!!
And below is what you get after the candy floss is taken off!! This is a sugar rush par excellence!!
I immediately had to do something about my drink and decided to order a Steph Weiss
This beer is brewed in Munich, comes in a 500 ml bottle and has 5% alcohol.
Below you can see the beer in the glass, nice, now I am feeling much better!!
Look at that amazing brilliant white head - this is beer!!
Below is another photo of the ice-cold beer in the glass. This beer went down very nicely nice and cold, just as a beer should be!!
Well like I said we also came to eat some Hamburgers, below is the menu, I decided to have the James Dean Show-Off
Below is the burger with the chips.
Below is the burger from close up, delicious!!
Mustang Sally's Pub and Diner is a real nice place, nice decor and good food with a nice atmosphere!!
I took these photos, using my iPhone, at Mustang Sally's Pub & Diner, in Pretoria, in the Gauteng Province of South Africa.
I hope you enjoyed the photos as much as I did taking it.
