Some more flowers on the stairway to heaven!!
As you might already know I went fishing and took some photos on my way down to the beach on a 300 step stairway. I posted some photos of flowers 2 days ago which I took on the same stairway Sweating to take a photo of a small pink flower. Above you can see another pink flower, with a small ant sitting on it.
Below you can see the entire plant, growing in the corner of one of the wooden steps. As you can see the plant is quite small and is even sharing the small corner with another plant.

To me it is amazing that a plant can grow in a small corner on a step and still produce these beautiful flowers.
I took these photos at Brenton near Knysna in the Western Cape Province of South Africa, using my iPhone.
