The Secret I Keep – Original Poem

I know this is rather scandalous,
But seeing as here I am anonymous …

I have decided to let you in on my secret
Not just some, but every juicy bit.

It started off with nothing more than a look here and there,
But that my yearning heart simply couldn’t bare.

I wanted more, I needed more,
So, I decided to go knocking on his door.

There he is, our eyes meet,
I smile, silly, as my thumping heart skips a beat.

Before I explain why I’m at the house,
He has me on the floor, rips my blouse.

Never before have I been treated like this,
But the pure excitement was indescribable bliss.

I giggle, uncontrollably, for all to hear,
What if they find out, my biggest fear?

That I am in love with my neighbor’s dog,
