The weekend was our first visit to Whitby in Yorkshire.
The landing place of Count Dracula in Bram Stoker's 1897 book, when Dracula's ship the Demeter runs aground here.
Dracula is a Gothic novel and Whiby fits the Gothic scene perfectly.
