There is a letter from the CJIB on its way to you!

With this notification I woke up this morning. Some time ago I wrote about the fantastic service of the postal delivery service

In short, it means that you get a notification on your phone that there is a letter or package to you on the way.

Sender CJIB

The notification is great of course! But not if the sender of the letter is the CJIB. CJIB stands for (JustitieelIncassoBuro) Judicial collection agency.

This body collects all outstanding fines for the police. Speeding offenses, parking fines etcetera.

That is of course something that I am not really waiting for!

It can only mean 1 thing in my case, driven too fast! But the notification does not tell you how fast you have driven and how much your wallet will be lighter.

At home, I immediately opened the letter.

Fortunately it was not too bad, 15 kilometers driven too fast and an amount of 97 Euro I have to pay for this.

I paid the amount immediately. I do not want open accounts with the government or police!
