Wine tasting Monday - my cup of wine

Tonight we attended a wine festival. Not an average wine tasting gathering but something you might have seen in the medieval stories of Sir Lancelot.

This wine festival takes place in a medieval village on the village square. There are a lot of long tables with food and wine to be seen everywhere your eyes can reach.

There are a lot of local delicacies from farmers like Onion Douce, fried onions. Also wine farmers from the nearby villages bring their finest wines for everyone to taste.

The kids weren’t forgotten either. They could choose from some artisan selfmade icecreams.

Obviously I could not resist to also buy some fine bottles of wine to take with me.

I say this is a neat way to start our holiday don’t you think?
