Since I joined social media, this question has been one of the most popular ones. It leaves your mind running for minutes, wondering which is the best pick, which is most favorable? Which works better in the long run?

In all of these questions, I would choose to bring someone back to life, specifically a loved one. Now, before I explain my reason for choosing the blue pill, I'll tell you why I'm not picking the red pill: Everlasting life.
Now, like I stated in the first paragraph there's a lot to consider before choosing any pill. It could either go well or end very badly. The red pill, in my opinion, holds more trouble than goodness; here's why I say so.
Firstly, immortality equals loneliness. You're trading the ability to die to be completely miserable; everyone you love, hate, admire, or have an interest in will leave Earth, and you'll be alone. Both humans, animals, and plants. Your heart would shatter a million times, leaving you in terrible misery and pain no one can cure. It would eventually numb your heart, and soon you would be a robot with no emotions except you're human.
Secondly, your short stay on earth already accumulates a whole lot of traumatic events. Think about how immortality will ruin your mental health for eternity. You would have a traumatic response to a lot of things, and when you think you're recovering from one, the world throws another one at you, making it a maze of never-ending sadness.
Finally, you have the chance of having a lifelong disease; immortality allows you to live forever; it, however, doesn't promise you good health as well. There's a huge possibility that you would have a deadly disease, suffer the symptoms and just never die. Absolute torture.
These reasons aside, I would still choose the blue pill because, to me, it holds much more use and is favourable for both parties. Below are a few of my reasons.
A second chance, losing a loved one is completely disheartening, I know how much it affects mental health and your emotional being, there's always this secret longing of wanting to bond more, do more, laugh more with your deceased loved one, to appreciate them even more than when you did while they lived. This blue pill makes these wishes a reality. Finally, I could hug my loved one again and do everything we didn't have a chance to do before their death.
Their family can pay more attention to them and right their wrongs; they can get a second chance at life to fulfill their dreams and make the world theirs again.
Another reason I chose the blue pill is because it's the most selfless act between the two. I get to give multiple people another chance at happiness, at love, at undiluted joy. It's like giving a gift that cannot be bought. It's a powerful act and one that people pray for.
