Hi! Today I am sharing a picture of cloudy sky before rain. I thought for a long time for drawing it. Now in my country the weather is warm. At noon the weather is very hot but nights are cloudy. There is also probability of storms. Sometimes in the afternoon the weather seems to be stormy.
One week ago a storm 'Kaal Boishakhi' occurred. Every year in Boishakh this storm happens in Bangladesh. First two months of Bengali calendar are rainy and stormy and second two months are full rainy season. So I took by brush and colors to draw a cloudy sky that seems it might rain now. That means the moment before rain. I used water color and acrylic colour both. The white color I used is acrylic.
First I cut an art paper from the drawing book. I margined the border by pencil. Then draw a very light sketch. first I draw the black clouds with water color. Nearest clouds are black and the cloud of a long distance I used white color. I draw a green shade where the sky met with land together. Then a small house and some trees on the right side of the field. I draw a river. In the field nearest to the river I used light green and in the middle of the field I used a little more dark green.
There I draw a little part of the river which spread into the field. As the brush was not very thin I felt some problems to draw the boats. I finished to draw the boats and I took a long time and also reworked to gain a minimum perfect shape and view. I am trying to draw without any reference from last few months. I take idea from some images but try to draw from my imagination. I think it will help me to be a good artist. I want to draw more and also share with you.
