Hi! It is summer in Bangladesh now and I am feeling very hot from a few day's. Very often we drink cold water, juice, cold drinks natural or processed drinks etc. But we don't try to know whichbare healthy and which are unhealthy for us.
We know some diseases causes for bacteria and virus which enter in pur body by water. Like typhoid, hepatitis, cholera etc. Lemon juice from street shop is the most common drinks. They use ice for keeping the water cold. But there are two types of water produced in factory. One is for keeping the fishes and another is for using in food items. But the drinks sellers buy the industrial ice at a cheaper rate for making more profit. It may causes waterborne disease. But most of the people ate not concern about this. Sometimes they affected by waterborne disease and suffer for long time. Often we see sugarcane juice seller with ice. They don't wash their hands and put the sugarcane in the machine without wearing hand gloves.
They never seperate the sugarcane affected by fungus. In Cholera Hospital, Mohakhali, Dhaka we see a lot of people are admitted there. Most of them are children. Even at the age of seven months I was also admitted into this hospital. Everyday a lot of people are affected by waterborne diseases. A few day's ago a report has been published that millions of cholera and diarrhoea microbials are found in chatpati, a food made by boiled dried yellow peas, masala water and salt.
Some days ago a girl named Karina Kaiser Grand daughter of the famous chess grandmaster of Bangladesh Rani Hamid. She was died for eating chatpati which was full of Hepatitis A and E virus. Most of the food sellers don’t maintain the hygiene and that causes life threating diseases. So we should avoid street foods especially juice or other drinks. Amd we should chek their hands before purchase foods.
