Hi friends! I was eagerly waiting for creative Sunday because this week I draw a new picture of a mount. For the first time I draw a mount covered with ice. One of my cousin visited USA recently. He show me some places of USA. He show me an image of Columbia River near Portland, Oregon.
There is a hill covered with ice is Mount Hood, There are some floating houses both sides of the river. I tried to draw the scenery not in detail but a clear cocept about the river and and the hill with floating houses. I have never visited USA but I wish I were visit the beautiful places of USA.
Especially the Colombian river is one of the best eye soothing scenery. So I selected this place to draw. First I took an art paper then cut it rectangular in sige. I used water and acrylic colour both. I draw the sky with wghite and blue. I blend the colour with brush on paper to highlight the sky with clouds. There are clouds in the sky but the sky was not so cloudy. I keep a triangular shape to highlight the mount.
I made some short stroke with a brush in the triangular shape to clear that it was a mount far from the river. There is a forest like a linear boundaries. I mixed black and green to draw the forest. The floating houses and some buildings also created a natural realistic mood. I highlighted the water with blue and white color as the shadow of sky.
The river was calm, there was no wave. I took around 4 hours to complete the drawing. The mount covered with ice is looking very nice. I draw the mount at the middle of the page as it clearly highlighted the beauty of the nature. I am very pkeased to draw such an image.
I like to draw images like this natural beauties. I will share more drawing and also try for better art work. I'd love to hear your feedback on this.
