Zucchinis are happening!
Take a look!
The leaves grow very aggressively and they compete with each other for real estate in the sun.
But when one of the female flowers are successfully fertilized by a male flower,
you finally get one of these.
I grew these too close together and too close to yellow squash so I am wondering is there has been some cross-pollination happening.
I am rather pleased with what I'm getting from these plants. I can't wait to try it all again next season with a better garden situation.
Monsters hiding under the leaves!
This is the one yellow squash plant. Doesn't look too happy, and it's not really doing too much of anything.
I had to pick the smaller one because I accidentally broke it mostly off while pruning some leaves. I would have liked to grow that one more.
These were used in breakfast.
This one will get eaten this week. Maybe I should post the dinner it will become a part of. :-)
Most post from the garden coming soon! Stay tuned for Peppers, Tomatoes, and more!
See my last post that updated my Cannabis portion of the garden!
