On the last post the first plant into a jar was SS Georgie.
And now...
Space Pants has dried for nearly 2 weeks.
I removed all the branches from the drying box and laid them out.
I began to remove the buds from the branches. They pretty much snapped off.
As I trimmed each nug down I put them in their new home.
Guess what tho...
I found two seeds!
Yup, I hope that's all there is.
I finally trimmed down all the nugs and put all the trim aside.
I filled the jar completely to the top with just buds!
In the end, Space Pants gave me exactly one ounce on the mark in buds and a bit extra with the trimmings. The buds are dry and hairy and the leaves dried up very thin. Compared to Georgie, these were more dense, and not as aromatic. Perhaps after curing for a while they will, for lack of a better phrase, get funky. There is one clone in the garden of this one, but I will have to decide if there will be enough flower for a harvest of that one.
I'll revisit these after some time has passed and they have had time to cure. But what's next? I am thinking the other ugly step-sister of the garden gang, Pippi Longstocking.
That's all for now!
See the first part of this growing season and the weird journey these plants have taken from seed till now.
PART ONE
THE LAST ONE BEFORE THIS
I make art and I grow things. I'll leave it up to you as to which of the two I am better at.
