This is my entry for this weeks asw photo contest in Black and White. This bizarre part of a building was covered up inside a hill with only this part of it protruding on one side of the hillside. It’s in Southern Spain and many abandoned buildings in the area are remnants of Franco’s civil war. This doesn’t quite seem to fit the pattern though as it is actually disappeared inside the hill. A fascinating piece of Spanish history that is is now just abandoned.
