My dear Hive friends,
I am from Bangladesh. Today is Wednesday , May 13/2026
Hi everyone, How are you? I hope everyone is well today I am talk about T20 cricket ipl, The excitement of IPL means four-sixes and when Delhi Capitals (DC) and Punjab Kings (PBKS—formerly KXIP) face off, the battle is evenly matched. Two of the most aggressive teams in the history of IPL are Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings. Although Punjab Kings were earlier known as Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), their fighting spirit is still the same. In today's blog, we will discuss the beginning and end of the battle between these two teams.

The battle between Delhi and Punjab is always quite fierce. Statistics show that the two teams have played more than 32 matches against each other so far. The winning margin is almost equal. Some seasons, Delhi dominates, while sometimes Punjab turns around.

Delhi Capitals won an incredible victory in the match held at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala on May 11. Punjab Kings batted first and scored 210 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Shreyas Iyer (59) and Priyansh Arya (56) scored brilliant half-centuries for the team.

Chasing a target of 211 runs, Delhi Capitals reached the target with 7 wickets lost with 1 over to spare. Punjab were crushed by the batting storm of captain Axar Patel (56) and David Miller (51). In the end, cameos by Ashutosh Sharma and Madhav Tiwary ensured victory. However, an interesting fact is that in the first leg match held on April 25, 2026, Punjab Kings created history by chasing 264 runs, which is one of the biggest run chases in IPL history!
IPL means uncertainty. Delhi Capitals are desperate for their first title, while Punjab Kings are also looking to end their trophy drought. So whenever these two teams take the field, the audience gets a tense cricket match. Although Punjab is in a slightly advantageous position in the play-off race, the way Delhi is turning around, anything can happen till the last minute. Anyway, we are ending this topic here today, thanks to everyone.
