Enjoy the tasty treats today! We present to you a Ghostly Creation and Three Amigos to keep company!
I hope you don't mind if they are a bit ethereal.
Slipping and sliding, careening through the turns.
Line running like a blade through the tar.
Engines revving they thread the needle.
Pushing the limits, they never rest.
Fingers twitching
On that trigger
On the blade of that knife
Metallic smell in his nose
Feeling a blood bath on the way
Words that turn to hissing
In his ears
As the world spirals out
And away from the defined lines of
"That is acceptable"
Innocence
Like sun beams
Radiating from the chest
Purity
And the ringing of tiny bells
May you never tarnish
When left out in the rain
Of age
Tribble the guinea pig,
Always aspired to be more,
So one day she broke free,
And ran right out the door.
She looked up to the sky,
And wiggled her little nose,
She wanted to be an astronaut,
And that was all she really knows.
A guinea pig at NASA?
What a stupid piggy dream,
But she was hired right away,
And joined the research team.
She was put into a rocket,
And she had never been so proud,
From a spacious cage marked "Astro-Pig"
She wheeked into the crowd:
"Thank you, human peoples!
From the bottom of my heart!
I promise I will make you proud,
And work hard right from the start!"
She was ready for the cockpit,
And to watch the stars fly by,
Instead, they put her in a room,
Where they do science in the sky.
And Tribble the daring Astro-Pig,
Ran circles in silent rage,
Unable to fly the massive ship,
Because they put her in a CAGE.
Tribble was an astronaut,
That got sent up into space,
To see what zero gravity does,
To a little piggy's face.
