Greetings!
One thing that I have loved so much in our current time is the advance in technology. The coming of technology has really helped us to redefine our world and I'm proud to be part of the history of making use of technology the way I have been using it.
Having said something about technology and its advancements, I would like to delve into the topic of the prompt which is all about, “Self driving car.”
To me and in my own opinion, the self-driving car is something I would love to see in existence in my lifetime and this is because, it's something or let me say, a kind of development that would make life easier than expected.
The self-driving car would help people to be free from the stress of driving. As for some, driving is always full of stress. I have seen people complaining to me just because of a long drive.
Also, I have seen people not going out with their cars just because of the stress associated with driving. Some with their experience of the stress when they drive would prefer boarding a taxi or cab to their destination instead of driving their own personal cars.
So, if there's a technological advancements that has in place, a self driving car, then all these I'm talking about would be totally eradicated as people would just get into their own cars and the car would start driving itself without the owner of the car steering the wheel of the car, nor marching the break when need be, it would be the car doing all these itself.
This would so much bring about so much peace to the entire human race that have been experiencing stress in their going out and coming in.
However, the minus in all of these is that, would everyone be able to afford this kind of a self driving car? Well to me, this car would be made available to those who would be able to afford it and not the poor in the society, which means the said stress would not be totally eradicated as portrayed by the technology.
Aside from this, driving which has been seen as a way and form of exercise to many would make them become lazy as most would now live in their comfort zones.
Also, on the question on who would be responsible for the preventable damage that might be caused by the self driving vehicle, well to me, the owner of the vehicle should be responsible for the damage that may be caused by the vehicle, but if the damage is too much, then the company should be made to pay for it and this is because, the manufacturing company should have done things that would always make the self driving car to prevent the preventable accident.
