It all started from a single phone call from 
Hive account@ejemai months ,as i mentioned yesterday here. I started steemit uyo community all alone. I got too lonely and thought maybe I should reach out to other people and get them onboard.
I started my reach out campaign and was able to get steemians from different parts of Nigeria and started a group with a friend called charles whose younger brother is 
Hive account@ewuosu . 
Hive account@ewuoso now runs the group Hive account@ewuosu with 
Hive account@amec and 
Hive account@sussan , the group is now known as steembess .
The group gave birth to a lot of steemians who are now heading several communities today , the most successful of them are 
Hive account@tojukaka and 
Hive account@misterakpan
After seeing how successful and matured steembess got, I had to start creating communities with steemians I could see and physically relate to. That led me to start creating a community now known as 
Hive account@steemit-uyo
The community started with just one person (me) and now we are over 300 with 254 active participants with over 100+ newbies being trained on the core values of steemit.
i think steemit uyo is the fastest growing and most active steemit community in nigeria as a whole.

Purpose of the Hub
The government has decided to forget their people who gave them power, people in uyo hardly get up to 6 hours of electricity in a whole week (really really sad), 
Hive account@stach is not only solving a problem, stach is doing what the government cannot do for her people. (vote stach for president....lol)
Not only will Hive account@stach provide free wifi and electricity, there will be spaces for steemains to run their businesses in the hub , so they can get other sources of income.
