Here he is yesterday morning doing his usual pre-breakfast painting. Now that he has school he won't have time for this any more.
Mandatory nursery school from age 3
A recent law change here in France means that Luna (who is 3) must also now attend school. On Thursday it will be her first day and I am doing my best to mentally prepare myself for this.
She seems way too young to me.
Sabrina believes it is important for them to go to nursery. Sure, having friends to play with is great. I get this. But I don't enjoy the idea that they are already getting used to the Monday to Friday 9-5 routine.
For now only the teachers must wear masks and social distancing rules don't apply for the kids. But if this changes I will pull them both out immediately. It's bad enough for them to think it is normal for adults to wear masks all day.
No problem to declare them as being home schooled! This is on the cards for sure. It's just the lack of friends which then becomes the next problem to solve.
But not to worry. I will figure it out ;)
