Kaikoura is located in the South Island of New Zealand, it is a beautiful stretch of coastline where the mountains literally meet the sea!
I took these photos in 2010, I used them as photo reference for paintings.
These mountains are called the Seaward Kaikoura Range.
The mountains meet the Pacific Ocean.
