It's been a fantastic day in this fantastic city - Lisboa is GORGEOUS!

It really just makes the US uglier and uglier...Here, every vista is unique, with amazing colors, light, textures, and character. In the US, we have gross Wal-Marts, cookie cutter houses designed to fall apart, and highways...

You know when we landed at the airport yesterday, customs didn't check our bags & they didn't even look at our passports! We literally just walked through a door that said "Nothing to Declare" and BAM - we were in LISBON!!!! 

And we almost immediately passed out on the grass outside to rest & reconnect with the Earth, which we didn't get enough of during our previous 3 days of travel inside the prisons they call airports. 

We woke this morning in a comfy enough hostel we found relatively late last night, and enjoyed some yummy coffee before His Steemajesty himself Hive account@roelandp graced us with his presence & generosity! 

Hive account@roelandp is really, really excellent at what he does, and he deserves to be honored for his epic consideration & attention to detail - I hope all Steemians recognize that. 

None of us would have a SteemFest to come too if it wasn't for him, and I personally would have no business here in Lisbon, therefore I wouldn't have had such a fantastic day of new sights, experiences, connections, and inspirations. 

So super thank you to Hive account@roelandp for dreaming & hosting SteemFest for us all once again! 

This afternoon we took a big fat photo fest walk with the also generous & helpful Hive account@lifemovedbysteem (thank you for being part of my awesome day!), where we saw more and more of Lisboa's glory around every corner. This city is seriously beautiful & soulful with a richness and depth that gives me goosebumps sometimes. I'm so excited for more of you to get here & see for yourself!

Later in the day we had dinner with one of my favorite couples, the Hilarskis - more very generous & purely lovely people whom I had been looking forward to seeing again since Steemfest the First! Wahoo!!!!

We passed a real shop called The Fantastic World of Portuguese Sardines and LOL-ed along our sweet night walk to the restaurant.

That inspired me to choose these tasty little fishies for dinner. 

They were super delicious, but I enjoyed the company even more than the meal. Thank you Hive account@anahilarski & Hive account@hilarski! Such a pleasure to spend time with you both! 

Tomorrow we set up the art space at LX Factory with Hive account@everlove, Hive account@opheliafu, Hive account@paolobeneforti, & Hive account@quinneaker - it's probably going to be an awesome day too!
