One major thing I do most often on steem is checking the blog of a few interesting people I follow and like the most. It's a pain in the *** to find all of them.
So I just built a simple favorites functionality on Insteem to just have a handful of people a mouse click away.
At the moment its all saved on a per browser basis as there is no other backend than steem for Insteem.
And its not bound to the logged in user. This can be improved in a future version, if requested ;)
All you have to do is to click the green heart next to an author and he will go into the 'Favorites Box ' on the right. Thats it.
