Hello, Hola, Namaste Steemers.
This is Saurav Joshi here.
Don't adjust brightness on whatever device you are hearing this on.
I am well and alive sitting in front of my computer.
No return favors, no SBD and this time no requests.
So buckle up, because I am about to tell you the story of my life or particularly the part of my life which explains why I joined Steemit.
If you are reading this post you may or may not be one of the reasons why.
Sorry guys that was it. My creativity died right there if you are looking for more 13 Reasons Why, I am really sorry but if you are looking for more interesting content hang on tight.
In this post I will be explaining tid bits of my life so it will be a little long hence it may not be a single post I will likely distribute in parts.
So let's start..?
1998
This is where it all started. The year I was born. No lighting thunder, no sand storms, nothing. Pretty usual. Born in a small village in Uttrakhand, India which still remains small.
This is not my village but it was pretty similar with less houses(way less houses).
A boy born in a village is a moment of celebration for all.
Sweets were distributed, music bands were organized for celebration and people were invited to the house for lunch.
After that it was pretty usual.
2000
For a normal kid I was also pretty normal. Nothing unusual with me. It was just that you could say that I was a little slow or not so fun kid . I was not that kid that will make you laugh or do mischievous thing(although one time I did ran off from the house with two buckets, but yes that was it). I was pretty simple that liked to stay in his own small world and still stays like that.
2003 - 2015
Admission into school. The day my life turned around. A kid who liked to stay in his own world was now supposed to face a bunch of strangers who were going to teach him how to shape your life to get a good job. The school never taught me how to live my life my own way but it taught me how to live my life like other people used to do 50 years back. The one thing I hate about schools is that they teach us How to live our life based on a curriculum that is 50 years old and expects us live us our next 50 years on that. The school I got admitted into was a Cent. Govt. (yes, a cent. govt. not a govt., this is how student used to tell about their schools because government schools sucked big time in India). It was a KV School for all Indians who are reading this will know what I am talking about because this couldn't get any worse.
School Fights were a daily routine to the school students. The fight's were no kid fight they were full borne stick fight that could lead kid's around 16-17 years old to bleed. Try to stop get beaten up as well. Call the police, silence for 3 days, then the usual stuff afterwards. Yes, now you can say what impression that would have had on me. But no, like I told you above I was a kid that lived in his own world and school impacted me in no way. Although it did help me learn English (that I can give it credit for :P). Though seriously it did help me learn stuff but had no impact on my social life. I made some good friends that I still know. I did my whole schooling from one school unlike many who kept moving from one place to another(I wonder it must have been hard for them).
I got introduced to computers in 2008 which turned my life upside down. You must be going like how cliched this story is but for a kid who lives in his own world was introduced to a new world who did not judged him no matter what he did. This was game changing for me. But then a horrific thing happend.........
